Bridgestone, founded in 1931, is well known for its engineering, research and development and it spends over £1/4 billion per year on making their tyres safer as well as increasing efficiency and performance.

The Bridgestone Corporation of Tokyo, is the largest tyre manufacturer in the world, operating over 150 plants in 25 countries. It employs nearly 140,000 personnel and purchased Firestone tyres in 1988.

Despite having to pay a $400 million fine in 2014 in the US for price-fixing, Bridgestone continues to be one of the major players in the tyre world.

As an original developer of run-flat tyres, Bridgestone are the OE fitment for BMW, Fiat, Honda, Mazda and Nissan.
